Miramonte Elementary's music program uses a modern band approach. We use popular music to teach students how to play various instruments such as guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, and voice. We believe that music is a language and should be taught as such. We have been very fortunate to receive support from various donors and organizations that have contributed to our music program by providing instruments and amazing performing opportunities for our students. Without the support of the non-profit Little Kids Rock we wouldn't have a program a music program at Miramonte.
